Julius Randle is the consensus top player in the 2013 class and the articulate young man is 16 years old and is already a man child. He is 6-8 1/2 and weighs 230. We watched him in Hampton and spoke to him after his game Friday night.

We will begin our coverage of the AAU season beginning Friday night in Hampton, Virginia at the Boo Williams Invitational. It is now called Elite Youth Basketball League and this is first tournament of the year.
Here are some of the players we will be following this weekend.
Rasheed Suliamon (2012)who is pictured above will be playing with a strong Houston Hoops team. The 6-3 guard from Houston, Texas committed to Duke in early February.
Tony Parker (2012) the 6-8, 265 pound big man from Lithonia, Georgia is coveted by most everyone will be also be in attendance this weekend.
Bronson Koenig (2013) is a 6-2 guard from Lacrosse, Wisconsin will be playing with J.P. Tokoto a recent UNC commitment. He is an outstanding shooter .
We have not been able to confirm if Mitch McGary (2012), Jabari Parker (2013), Kyle Anderson (2012) and Robert Carter (2012) will be there or not. Alex Murphy (2011 or 2012) and Shabazz Muhammad will not be there as both are Adidas kids.
